Birkdale Senior - Monday

Senior boys (11 – 16+ years), are joined by Ashdell girls for some very lively training sessions.
Many are now up to 4th and 3rd Kyu, so time is devoted to Kata practice as well.
The senior grade, (in more ways than one!), is A. Fisher, my ‘veteran’ student now in his 9th year with the club. Just a week before his 16th birthday, he was graded to 2nd Kyu. This is an unusually good promotion and on our first ever training course at the fantastic English Institute of Sport here in Sheffield.

Assistant Instructor is C. Utting 2nd Kyu (contest), parent of a member, formerly a student of Sensei Hosaka 8th Dan. After a long break she has returned and stormed through grades in just 2 years.
